About Proofy

Proofy helps you save receipts, invoices, warranty documents, and proof-of-ownership details in a searchable local-first vault that can stay protected across your Apple devices with iCloud.

Purchases

Proofy purchases and subscriptions are managed by Apple. You can restore purchases inside Proofy Settings, and you can manage or cancel subscriptions from your App Store account settings.

Free Pro AI Entries

Free users can use 10 free Pro AI entries online. These require an internet connection because the selected proof document is sent to Proofy's extraction service for editable suggestions. If the service is unavailable or the free entries are used, Proofy lets you subscribe to Proofy Pro, buy Proofy Basic for on-device reading, or continue manually.

Basic vs Proofy Pro

Proofy Basic is a one-time purchase that unlocks scanning, photo/file imports, document preview, proof sharing, vault export, OCR/PDF extraction, On-Device AI reading where Apple Intelligence is available, iCloud sync, and 30-day recovery. Proofy Pro is a monthly subscription for ongoing Pro AI extraction of tougher receipts and invoices and includes all Basic features.

iCloud Sync and Recovery

Eligible users can check iCloud status, sync manually, and open Recently Deleted from Proofy Settings. Proofy keeps deleted proofs recoverable for 30 days. Sync requires an available iCloud account and enough iCloud storage; local access continues while offline.

If your Apple account changes, Proofy pauses and asks whether to keep and seed the local vault or replace it with the new account's vault. A 30-day local safety snapshot is created before replacement.

Offline Use

Manual entry works offline. Proofy Basic on-device reading can work offline after purchase verification. Pro AI extraction requires network access; Proofy Pro users can fall back to Basic local reading if Pro AI is unavailable.

Review Before Saving

Proofy treats AI and OCR output as draft suggestions. Always review store, date, item, total, GST/tax, and warranty details before saving.
